• I was appointed Foundation Director of the Office of Undergraduate Research by then Provost Anthony Garro.
• With the assistance of the then Dean of Engineering & Applied Sciences, Robert Peck, I initiated the BS and MS program in Data Science and was Co-Director of the program with Professor Ramprasad Balasubramanian.
• With Donghui Yan I developed an Applied Statistics track in the Mathematics BS degree.
• Following a suggestion of Dean of Arts & Sciences Pauline Entin, and with the assistance of Associate Dean Amy Shapiro and Department of Mathematics colleagues, I developed a minor in Data Analytics, housed in the Department of Mathematics, and aimed principally, but not exclusively at social science majors.
• With Alfa Heryudono I am developing the Dartmouth Innovations in Mathematics & Statistics Consulting (DIMASC) hub.
